Hi. :D A little about me: I just moved to Toledo about 5 months ago from Ypsilanti. I don't know the area that well. I can find my way around enough to get grocies and stuff, just don't ask me to meet you somewhere downtown. I don't even know HOW to get downtown! :P I'm currently attending EMU for a bachelors in History - a semi-useless degree, one might argue, but I promised myself I'd see it through, so there ya go. :) I'm currently a social worker and spend a great deal of my time working with and worrying about the homeless population in Monroe.

My friends have described me as eccentric and weird - very accurate, if you ask me. :P They would also tell you I'm a lot of fun, easy-going, sometimes a bit intense and incredibly loyal, and as my friend Sarah puts it "not stupid." :D Thanks Sarah. You're a peach.

What I'm looking for in a guy - someone who is mischievous (and can pronounce it correctly ;D) and funny and not afraid to act like an idiot with me - because, really, do you care what others think as long as you're enjoying yourself? It would be really great if you are also trustworthy, honest, loyal, and don't talk about women like they're on this planet soley for your physical satisfaction. Yeah...umm, I've never run into that problem before... :P

Last note I'd like to add...this is my second go at the online dating thing, with this site to be specific. The first time around didn't go so well and garnered a lot of requests for sex, typically in grotesque and...unusual ways. So, if that's the email you might be inclined to send, please send it to someone else and/or get therapy. Not to be mean, but if that's how you talk to women, then it's probably safe to assume that we won't get along...at all. :D

A little update...I just felt the need to add this: If you just send me a yahoo id to chat or a phone number, I'm not going to respond. And the same goes for people who can't write in complete sentences and have no grasp of the English language or are sending out prefabricated cut-and-paste messages. If you need an explanation as to why I won't respond to this kind of stuff, once again, it's probably safe to assume we won't hit it off.

As far as first dates go, it would probably work best if it's something where we can actually talk to each other. So dinner or even just bumming around town or something would be fine with me. :) I'm usually up for just about anything.
