Ladies, Im a 41 yr young gentleman in search of a very special lady with attributes of gold inside, not on every finger and wrist. I've been divorced and single for 3 years,by choice, and am just now emerging from my hiatus, having gained much knowledge and insight from my introspective period . I believe a person must truely know his/herself and have something worthwhile to offer before taking on a partner. If not, the relationship will surely turn into a Twilight Zone episode sooner rather than later! Anyways, enough on that. I enjoy outdoor activities, too many to list.However, be forewarned, if you hang out with me you will be going skydiving and bass fishing or we just aint gonna make it!lol Ilike classic rock and am fond of country oldies as well. I especially prefer to listen to classical on rainy nights. I dont know why , I just do. Sometimes I enjoy staying at home and laying out my comic book collection all over my house.I enjoy sweating in my sauna and swimming in my pool.I also collect 12 inch G.I. JOES. from yesteryear.My greatest goal these days is inner peace aqnd happiness and to thine own self, be true. If you dont love yourself, you cant love anyone else. I also am a strong believer in karma, what goes round always comes back round,so be kind to one another. Oh, I dont believe any of us are exempt from our personal struggles and challanges so dont be afraid of yours. Lord knows Ive confronted my own in the past and I still have some today. Thats life.I dont respond to women who seem too good to be true on this site.So please, dont be reluctant to be real when we meet. I think an ideal first date should involve keeping stress and expectations at an absolute minimum! Coffee or a light lunch seems appropriate for the screening, uhhh, I mean first date. At this point its only a brief social encounter,not a marriage ceremony. Ive learned moving slowly with most things in life is usually best.
