I like to make people laugh, so I'm usually trying to turn just about anything into a funny. I like good, thought-provoking, engaging conversation. I like to challenge and be challenged. I can be pretty sarcastic (totally unrelated to the whole making people laugh thing, though), but it's all in good fun. I'm quick-witted, always thinking, sometimes oblivious to things around me yet very much in tune with what captures my interest. Sometimes I live in my own world (my bubble) which is nice because it keeps the good stuff in and the not so good stuff out (this is where the oblivious thing comes in handy). I am idealistic and realistic at the same time, if that's possible. I like to think about things and sometimes get stuck in my head. Still, my feet are planted pretty firmly on the ground. I don't wear my heart on my sleeve, but I do wear my head there. I've moved around a good bit and have lived in a handful of countries and another handful of cities, but third time's a charm in NYC. All of which is to say that I love to travel and go places, but for now, I'm well settled in this great city of ours...

I'd love to find an attractive, intelligent, educated, professional, athletic, self-aware, evolved, passionate guy who can challenge me, keep me on my toes, make me laugh and think; someone who has depth and breadth and many dimensions to him; someone who likes to do new and interesting things, has an active and healthy lifestyle, is adventurous, fun-loving, and someone to really connect with.

An ideal first date is hard to predict. But, a great date, well, that's easy. We could be anywhere doing anything and we'd be having the best time together. If you can make me laugh, you're onto something. If I can make you laugh, then you probably have a good sense of humor... :)
