Hey there, I see you're interested in knowing a little more about me! I can't say I'm surprised, because I really am a pretty interesting guy! But enough with inflating my own ego, here are the basics:

I am passionate about my family, my friends, my faith, and my work. I strive hard to improve myself every day in some way even if it is something small. I want to be with someone who can grow with me and challenge me to experience new and exciting things.

I am Manager and Design Specialist at a local garden center. In a nutshell, I am the guy that you come to if you're looking for help understanding landscape design concepts so that you can implement them in your own landscape. I really enjoy my work because it gives me the chance to join my design skills with my love of the beautiful natural world that God created for us.

I really do enjoy spending time outdoors. My favorite time of year is when our extended family heads up to Canada for an 8 day fishing, hiking, biking, and just plain having fun trip. We've been doing the trip for 26 years now, and I love it every time we go!

Of course my free time isn't always going to include weeklong trips with 40 people. On a normal evening after work I enjoy being with my family and friends. I enjoy a good movie, especially when the good guys win! I enjoy spending time outdoors relaxing in a rowboat with a fishing pole and a couple friends. I enjoy going to Pt. Defiance Park and walking around on the trails, birds chirping all the way. I enjoy a good bike ride with my dad. I even enjoy making a fool of myself from time to time, because who really wants to be perfect anyways?

I aspire to be someone who is thought of as an asset to our society. No, I don't want to be famous or anything like that... I want to work in the background to make the world a better place, so that future generations might benefit from the blood, sweat, and tears that I'll shed now. I want my legacy to be in raising children who carry on the ideals that my family has held for generations: That respect, hard work, and a good sense of humor will get you a long ways in this world.

This profile thing tells me I should talk about my taste in music, but let's be honest here... Who really wants to hear a long list of bands, singers, druggies, drunkies, and tools anyway? I enjoy listening to music of all sorts of genres. As long as its not vulgar and has a nice hook, I'm pretty easy to please! I'll tell you what though... I'm always interested in hearing new and exciting stuff, so if you want to make points with me, maybe that's a good start?
