Hello. Originally from the midwest, I've been in AZ for 8 years. I'm well-planted here in town...I have a secure job, a bunch of friends, two bands, and own my own place. I work at a musical instrument manufacturer's headquarters, handling sales for the southwest. As a musician with a business degree, this is a "dream job" for me.

About me...I guess I'm a man of contradictions: I'm laid back but very hard working. I love to laugh and be goofy, but can hold deep, serious conversations. I believe in morals/ethics but am not religious at all. I don't like cold weather, but love the fall & winter. I thrive on being on the go, but am happy to just sit and watch a sunset, a movie or the grass grow. And I don't like cheese but I love pizza...it's weird, I know.

Mainly, I'm a happy, honest and kind person - following the golden rule of treating others as you want to be treated. I believe in thinking positively, and looking on the bright side, even when it's hard to do (especially then).

I'm looking for someone who sees things relatively the same: a positive person who prefers a smile rather than a frown. Life is too short to spend it being salty. Someone who is generally happy, flexible, & a good communicator. Someone who has their own life, interests & passions. Someone who is liberal & open-minded.
Personality is the main thing I look for in someone; the ability to communicate and be happy is key.

To me, a first date should be meeting up for dinner, lunch, coffee or a drink. It should be somewhere that it's easy to talk, since that's the point of a first meeting, isn't it? That way there's a chance to talk and get to know each other a bit.
Perhaps that's unoriginal, but it makes sense!
