First impressions are powerful and projecting an accurate image of who I am in this forum is not going to be easy. Much like you, I'm worth the effort and time spent to get to know.

What I know about myself that I can share with you here are...

The relationships I share are most valued and whether it is time spent talking about the day over a cup of coffee, exchanging life's stories, or making plans to make a dream come true I'm a good partner. In my life I have enjoyed everything you can do on the Chesapeake Bay, boating, fishing, crabbing, or just a day on shore with the water in the foreground.

I'm blessed with a wonderful family and I try not miss the important family events, backyard cookouts, friday night poker games (the guys play poker and the ladies gather and talk about lady stuff), and of course the birthday parties. New members are always welcome.

I have switched my taste in music over the years and I'm not passionate about any one in particular. It depends on where I am or what I'm doing. At work I prefer smooth jazz, while doing housework good old fashion rock and roll, in the car with someone else anything except bluegrass and whatever that stuff is the kids are listening to these days, in the car alone I prefer audiobooks, and there is nothing wrong with conversation or silence on occasion.

I wanted a nice house and I have it complete with a yard and garden I take care of. Everything has a place and in its place, clean and tidy, I don't always make the bed in the morning and sometimes the stray dish or glass sits in the sink a while before it makes it into the dishwasher. I'm not obsessive-compulsive I have pride in my home.

I like to watch NCIS, CSI, Mentalist, and Criminal Minds. I'm afraid I never get what was so funny in sitcoms give me a good action drama, suspense, mind twister, or thriller. I'm surprised by the things that do make me laugh, a good joke, silly little things, and those things that will make you laugh at yourself.

I've been able to make most of my dreams come true. I dream of finding someone to share life with. Someone who will appreciate me as much as I do them. We will laugh, love, learn, explore, and discover that the best part of being in this world is being together. Send a hello message, make me smile, that's a start.

Keep it simple. Anyplace where we can talk and get to know each other a bit more than messages on a computer allows.
