I am a 51 year young woman. I have been divorced for MANY years and have a grown son. After many years as a manager in the medical/dental field(s),then owning my own small business for several years,I decided that life was too short to continue doing something that didn't make me happy EVERYDAY so... I went back to school and studied massage therapy! By day I am a nanny to a toddler (another is due in June) and I have massage clients I see by appointment. Hopefully, you can tell I have a pretty high energy level and would like to find someone who can "keep up with me", but who was also born in the same era at least, that he would know who and what I was talking about if it was before 1980! I love to laugh and even intend to try my hand at stand-up comedy soon I hope! Friends and family have encouraged me and I have just been trying to put something together to give it a shot someplace. In comparison to many I am "very low maintanence" and don't need to be wined and dined at 5-star restaurants in order to have a nice time with someone, but I WOULD like to know that IF we both wanted to sometime that might be an option! I believe that happiness is a choice we make to be, and in spite of tough times(everybody has some)I choose to smile and laugh my way through them. The alternative is to be sad, mad, and raise my blood pressure and because I don't want or need any of that I just keep on laughing. Don't get me wrong, I am human and I DO get down from time to time, but I have a very strong faith in God and know HE will see me through it all. Again, don't get me wrong... I don't claim to be a saint either and I am not a "cram it down your throat" sort of person, but I would like to meet a man who has a strong faith in God as well, and believes that if HE is the center of a relationship then that surely makes it better from the get-go. I am a reformed smoker of MANY years and can't tolerate smelling like an ashtray so if you smoke and don't plan to quit soon, probably best to just move on! I am way beyond the bar scene being fun, but do enjoy a glass or two of wine or a really good marguarita from time to time,so if you are opposed to alcohol in moderation I'm not the one for you! If you are attached to someone or haven't gotten over a breakup recently please don't involve me! That's not fair to ANY of us! I've "done the work" and am ready to move on.
