UPDATE: Is wondering if there is any one out there that understands me and can except me and my situation. Yes I am still married but the marriage is over in every way except the paper work. Due to a situation with one of my children I can not get the divorce any time soon. If you have a problem with this please don’t play games with me. I don’t want to develop feelings and hopes just to have the rug jerked out from under me again.

I am just a country boy who got out and saw the world and now I am back home on the farm. I am separated and not really sure what is out there. I have been married for over 21 years. I am new to this dating thing.

I do love to go to town for dinner, a movie or a live performance. But I am just as happy sitting by the camp fire, laying on a blanket looking at the stars, sitting in the back yard watch the sunset over the valley, or cuddled on the couch.

Not really looking for a playmate right now really more looking for a comfortable friend and in the future a soul mate. One woman man for over 25 years. Not gonna go fast to become one again, but hope to be one again some day.

As I have said earlier I do live on a farm and with that comes having to take time to take care of the animals and the farm it self. This takes some time and whom ever I spend time with would have to realize this and could help me with the chores and / or give me time to take care of bussiness. You dont have to get dirty but except that I will have to from time to time. But along with the farm work would come sitting in the swing at sunset watching the ducks and geese on the lake and just enjoying the quite (interupted every now and then by the sounds of cows or of ducks begging for feed).


I know that if you have children they are most important to you as mine are to me. I expect that there may be times when rain checks will be given and received for things we may have planned. But I will do my best to make it you to you.

As I have said above if you do not like affection, I am not the man for you. Because you will be the recepiant of many smooches and squeezes. It may just take the form of a hand squeeze in public, but you will get it.

A good comfortable first date would be to meet downtown Chattanooga near the Aquarium and eat dinner. If dinner goes good maybe go for a walk on the river front, go to a musical performance, or just sit and talk by the river.
