I love puppies, sunsets and traveling... dang, everyone likes those things! I guess I have to differentiate.

I live my life creatively by doing things because I love them or they work, not because that's the way most people do things. I am a pretty upstanding guy; my hero is Jonathan Kent (Superman's adopted father.) My tastes are a little left of center, but I love what I love and take pride in it. Jazz, alternative, crooners, skiing, podcasts, dogs, How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Phil, comedies, video games, cars, racing, football, computers, politics. I love having a good time, but I choose pretty laid back activities generally. I am all about a passionate and intelligent conversation, but I love a cute and playful conversation too. I like to express myself artistically through drawing, painting, interior design and graphic art. I am a hopeless romantic. I am spiritual but not in an organized way. I sing in the car. I love my family, and am grateful for everyday I can spend with them. I love playing with kids, especially my niece and nephew. I have alot of acquaintances, but a few tight friends. I believe in loving what you do so that you are charged up to give the real you to your friends and family. I don't believe in martyring yourself for your work, ie. being a workaholic. I am an industrial designer / marketer / graphic artist and have had some success.

That's a pretty dense cross section of me in the form of a paragraph. Wow. Fun to write through, very introspective.

I'm on here to meet people and see where it goes. I have always happily surprised at what I see when I get to know people a little deeper, no matter what my first impression is. So I don't want to limit anyone by listing specific things I like. But being intelligent, artistic, and have really beautiful eyes, I won't complain ;-)

Hmmm first date eh? How about the anti first date, the exact opposite of a typical first date. What's the typical first date? Dinner and a movie? So how about breakfast, and hiking up a mountain. Ya that seems pretty opposite, and fun now that I think about it. Seriously, checking out a tourist attraction (we have tons of those in Ottawa, and never use em) and then going for a nice dinner would be stellar for me. But the opposit thing works too ;)
