I live in Provo, attend BYU and am an ex-Mormon. This means that it's pretty much impossible for me to meet compatible people. Unfortunately, I'm incredibly poor so I have to resort to free online dating. Shady right? But I've never been one to shy away from risks soo....

I've been to 14 different countries in the last 3 years. I have lived in Romania and worked in orphanages there for 4 months. I've also done research for 4 months in Thailand. I am finishing up an undergraduate in Sociology at BYU and plan on joining the PeaceCorps in December of 2010.

I used to be an art major and am originally from upstate New York. I still love art and still paint and draw on occasion when I have time. I was also a theater major for a short time and LOVE theater and film. My friends complain that I'm not allowed to discuss movies with them because I always ruin it afterwords with too much analyzing.

I am pretty liberal. My brother-in-law calls me a socialist but I don't really think I am. However, I don't have a problem with socialism so maybe I am. Oh, you are probably picking up from this that I am also very politically minded. But, my whole family is republican and I live in Utah so I know how to play nice.

Anyway, I think that's enough info for now. Don't want to make getting to know me tooo easy after all ;)

Honestly, I'm not very picky about first dates. I know a lot of people (especially in Utah) think it is totally lame to go out to dinner and a movie on a first date, but really I don't mind it. I love theater, and it gives you something fool-proof to discuss in case the conversation is slow. I'm just someone that likes to have interesting conversations. Doesn't matter much to me if I'm climbing a mountain, put-put golfing, or sitting in a coffee shop.
