Dating is like traveling…

An exciting adventure that will take you places you’ve never been. You get to see new sights, explore new places, try new things, share what you know and learn from those around you. Some carry full baggage, and others pack lightly. You enjoy most places you visit, take pictures, share in the good company it has to offer, sometimes wish you could stay longer, but move on to see what else your travels will bring. Hopefully with all the places you visit, you find one that’s remarkably special, with a breathtaking view, is cultured and exciting to see. When you discover this special place, it becomes your favourite destination; although nice to see other places, this is where you want to return time after time, and eventually unpack and call home. Isn’t everyone looking for that special place to discover?

I do enjoy dating, but don’t consider it a sport or something to pass the time. I enjoy meeting people, but am not against committing with the right person; I’m against settling just for the sake of it.

About me? I moved to Ottawa about three years ago, and absolutely love this city and everything is has to offer (Toronto traffic was becoming a bummer). I’m career focused and have the most amazing and rewarding job ever, but I make my family, friends, and fun a priority in life. I’m into just about anything, but don’t understand the point of lawn bowling… I keep active, and hit the outdoors as hard as I hit nap time on the couch. I love music, movies, reading, and actually find myself filling up my house with aromas from cooking quite often.

About you? Well, if I knew exactly what I’m looking for, I wouldn’t be looking right? A girl with dreams, goals, sense of humour, killer smile, active, easy going and the only games likes playing are board games…
