With my boys off to college, I finally have the time for romance. I love to laugh and talk - so for me someone brainy and funny are sexy. My main interests are the arts - high and low - I love movies AND film, museums AND pop culture. I've started working out and still can't do a push up (could use some help here). I'm a strong swimmer and would give it all up for a bungalow by the ocean.

The first meeting has to be brief to see if there's anything to it. I prefer to have a drink - and enjoy someone's company. To my thinking, even if we don't advance to a second date it can still nice to meet. But for me, the real question is what I'd like to do on the second date. Then, you count on mutual interest (and less awkwardness). If it's a beautiful weekend day, I would take a walk and then have a glass of wine. Maybe dinner. I'll stop here.
