I am secure in who I am, educated and still learning, fun-loving and still curious about the world. I love doing almost anything you can do outdoors-camping, boating, swimming, even fishing. I work out and meditate to help keep me balanced. One day I would like to find a romance that will last the rest of my life, but I am not lonely as to be desperate and do not hold my breath in anticipation of true love. I do not need anyone to make me happy with my life and myself. I am up for good times and meeting new people. I am not afraid to try new things, and I've learned that it is the only way to add variety to life. Who wants to eat meatloaf everyday? Every experience makes one who he is now. Let the past shape you, the future beckon to you and the present fulfill you. There is something to be said for living in the moment, and there is something to be said for sharing the moments.

I want to meet a man who is not into games, who knows what he wants (or at least what he does not want) and who shares interests similar to mine while having his own interests. Intelligence, humor, a good attitude and respect for others are very appealing characteristics in a man. Good looks are alluring, but they are not the most important, lasting distinction of deep, mutual attraction. First dates are better if a pair can talk and get an impression of one another. Second dates and after are for spending more time getting to know one another. Being comfortable on a first date is key, so mutual agreement is a must.
