I am a ridiculous optimist - a glass half full type of girl. And it would be great if you shared the same view. I live downtown Los Angeles, work as a designer, have a lot of friends and a pretty busy life. I've been married and have two amazing grown boys. I've come to a new chapter in my life, a chapter I am excited to unveil. I am ready to embark on the next adventure. I am inspired by nature, by beauty, by art in all its forms. I am attracted to unique, to different, out of the ordinary, and yet, somehow the mundane intrigues me. A tattooed, top-hat wearing trapeze artist excites me. A circus devoid of ill treated animals makes me happy. But then again I am super happy to sit and chat to an old woman from Idaho for hours, what she might have to say is often more interesting than what I may over-hear from a hipsters mouth on my street corner. But the grass is always greener, right? Not sure if I could up and move to Idaho... just sayin'. Perhaps just intrigued by a slice of life I know nothing about. I am kind to waiters and janitors. I have little time for ignorance and stupidity. Travel es muy importante and I have done a lot of it... Its important to me that my man keeps in shape, attraction is key here, so please be tall, good looking and it good shape. Please be kind, thoughtful and hey, it'd be awesome if you read books. Be strong, hold me when I need it, but know when to let go. Smile at me from across a crowded party, know that I am yours, and that in a few hours we will be in each others arms. Its pretty simple. I am confident, and not a jealous person. It would be spectacular if you were the same. That is the ultimate in sexy for me!
I love the ocean more than most things. I surf when I can. I adore the mountains, the Sierras are a boundless source of inspiration for me. I love thrift stores, finding gems that no one else has. I run and am training for a marathon right now. I'd love it if you ran, or biked, or swam, or surfed... at least feel as passionate about getting out there, getting the body moving, as I do.
I have tried this internet dating before. Its not been hugely successful, but here I am again, giving it another go. Ha, guess its true... I am the eternal optimist.

I've had first internet dates that have lasted for hours. First dates that have involved bike riding, surfing, boating, museum hopping, and although they have all been fun, and on the most part the guys pretty great, none of them have been the man I am looking for. So that said, I've learned my lesson, make the first date a quick one. Don't get me wrong, I am a hopeless romantic, and the idea of meeting someone and flying off to Paris with them the next day is more than appealing to me, but bottom line, if I were to find myself buckling a seatbelt next to a man I was not attracted to and was supposed to spend the next couple weeks with, I might be a little freaked out. I know that is a totally hypothetical situation, but my point is, chemistry is chemistry and if it is not there, the long dates can be a little painful. So, lets have coffee or a drink... and hey, if we click the date does not have to end quickly... we can always extend it, order some food then head to the ocean or gallery opening.. or Paris.
