I love to travel and experience new places and people, both in the US and abroad. I love to read, watch movies, listen to music as long as it is not rap or heavy metal. Cooking and entertaining family and friends is an enjoyale way to spend a day or evening.
I plan to retire in about 5 years, and cannot even begin to imagine how I will have enough time to do all the things on "my bucket list". So many places to go, people to meet, things to see...
I am a mom, a granma, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teacher, a mentor, and a student who never tires of learning something new. My greatest accomplishment to date, is that my sons like spending time with me, and that they are eachother's best friend. They make me proud.

For a first date, I would like to find some quiet, small cafe or resturant, and spend time talking and getting to know one another....I feel I am a pretty good judge of people, and am not into games or pretention. I am impressed by men who don't try to impress and who know that being genuine is really attractive. I am a good listener, who enjoys good conversation. I dislike pushy people, who feel the need to "convince" me that they are right. I will most like agree to disagree.
