A teacher of logic and the history of philosophy, I like a quick wit to converse with, enjoy travel (especially Europe and the United States), and listening to music, live or recorded. I've lived overseas for two years and am fluent in German. I spend a lot of time with books, both in and out of the classroom, and read a lot of contemporary fiction in my spare time. When I'm not traveling, I become a creature of habit and enjoy my routines, which include regular visits to the museums and concerts on offer in my home town as well as extended cooking sessions (Northern Italian and southern German mostly) in the kitchen. Because of my career I've moved often in the past decade and am looking forward to settling down in one place and living a more stable life in the near future.

I would say a walk in the park followed by coffee or drinks. It depends on the other person too.
