I wanted to take the time to update my profile as I started to feel, or I should say assume that my profile was too much alike everyone else's.. I am sure as you read this you are wondering if your profile is also like everyone else's lol... I want to write how I honestly feel and I guess you can tell me if this is refreshing as its different than the usual " I love to laugh, or I want to find someone who is outgoing and loves to have fun" routine that everyone writes. I feel as if looking at somebodie's pictures and profile on this site and meeting is the equal to seeing an advertisement add for a piece of furniture you are looking to buy.. The piece of Furniture might look great on paper, but you have to actually see it in person to see if you like it once you see it, or if it will be a good fit in your home, or the little things about it you might like or not like....

I have dabbled in online dating in the past at times and have learned that for every attractive girl that is on here, There are a ton of people competing for that persons attention.. I have had a bunch of friends who have used online dating and just lined up date after date after date.. Doesn't that get kind of old after a while? Having the same first date conversation.. talking about the same things that you are accustomed too. Each conversation sounds like the one before hand. It's like ground hog day... Sometimes people always think the grass is greener on the other side and are always looking for the next best catch and never happy with what they have in the present.... It's like playing a slot machine.. If you find a winner.. Are you supposed to keep playing and take the chance of blowing your winnings? or know when to realize you won and be happy with that...

Most times you are looking for someone who looks cute in there pics, seems to have a good head on there shoulders, and has as little baggage as possible. A good description will catch ur attention more so then a bland description. Most of the time a description tells you so little about someone and has nothing to do with reality of who the person really is. U have to actually meet someone to see if u have things in common. If ur looking to date, this is a great place to meet people but u have to realize that this site is the equivalent of standing at Penn station with my hand out shaking each girls hand that walks by saying. "Hi, my name is ....... Would u like to go out". It's not as personable as getting to know someone In person.

In closing I have learned I would like to have a relationship with a person not a cell phone. I would rather talk to someone then have our primary conversation through texts. Too many things are taken the wrong way and misread where u find Yourself staring at the screen at the same words wondering what the rest of the conversation would of been. if u speak to someone u get actual conversation and there is great communication. I did my best to be genuine and say the things that you are thinking!... Hope I did a decent job ( :
