I am a work in progress, and am looking to share my metamorphosis with someone.Am a recent transplant to Florida, with not many friends here yet, want to get settled and start anew.I am a divorced 58yr old.with two children in college,they live in NY. they are not baggage but two of my best assets!!love em!!
Recently had my life put on hold after taking care of my brother, who has succumbed
to his cancer. it was a severe set back for me ,but i am not defeated, and am moving on,just not as far along as I had planned.that being said, I like to do outdoor activities, more than indoor stuff. and I am open to try anything new. I say I like car shows but do not have my head under a car all day, but would enjoy some company at a show. same with all of my activities, i have many and would like to share them with some one compatible, if possible, guess that is why we write these profiles.
Oh, by the way , since my mother has died years ago, and I was raised in a household with sisters ,I CAN cook. CAN clean, CAN do all the domestic requirements of adult hood!! LOL! I have seen that in the forums regarding taking care of ones affairs,DONE! If i am leaving out any important details, even if i am not for you , feel free to give me a heads up to my errant deletions, we all want good profiles, even if we can't please all!! want to say the right stuff, not the wrong , after all, "a closed mouth, gathers no feet!".
I do enjoy a good laugh, makes living more bearable. this is an edit. regarding my photo , it was taken this June 09, have a tooth broken, waiting for cap, I can smile!!! hope to have newer pictures soon.,

I enjoy fixing things, and creating things. I have great deal of patience for anything new. I will gladly hold your purse while you shop, without a gripe. I will love your pet, too! although, reptiles are not high on my list.
I hope to meet someone to share the daily rituals of life. go out to a dinner, enjoy the company of each other. take a ride in the car and explore things. hit the gym together or get to the beach. I like to cook a nice leisurely Sunday breakfast, maybe watch a movie in each others arms. Let's face it, we all know were special and unique, except when you do it solo, something is lost. Hey, I like me , but one is still a lonely number, and I am planning to do something about it, one profile at a time.

To me a first date for dinner is great. I know, many people,especially the women it seems, want to be surprised, something imaginative, etc, I agree that is desirable, but hard to pull off on first meet,for me anyway. not many people can enjoy coffee while skydiving!! LOL! keep it simple. if more develops from there , let the fun begin!! at dinner you can 1. look at your date. 2. enjoy a conversation (hard to do at a movie) 3. have some good food while, looking and talking to your lovely date. all this is negotiable, I'm sure. that is what the E-mails and phone calls are for.
