I want to say something witty, appealing, non-clichéd and true? Lets stick with the first three. I love dancing, philosophy, New York, and writing. I admit: the first I primarily love in the other person, though I'm sure it's in me somewhere and will reward generously the person who finds it. I only like being serious about the most trivial things. I would love for my personality to come through in the way I speak and write rather than the attributes I decide arbitrarily to reduce my life to.

I'm sitting at a crowded bar, trying to look natural as I clutch my rose beneath the counter. Then one glance and I know it's you; and I know it's perfect. Thankfully your feelings aren't too different, and we simultaneously reveal our roses. So we take a table by the window, where we can watch the snow fall as we eat fondue (kissing every time we – purposefully? – drop in the bread) then ascend the Schilthorn and sip champagne in the footsteps before following him gracefully down, ending up on our doorstep . (Not disclosing yet how I would end the date.) The fondue-kissing by the way is apparently a Swiss custom - unless my father made it up on the first date with my mother.
