Where, oh where to start...well, I know what I'm looking for. I'm looking for love. The 'bless you' when you sneeze, open the car door for you, put a blanket on you when you're cold, stand up for you if someone is disrespectful, sweet, romantic kind of love. Do I really expect to find this kind of love on this site--probably not. What I would like to find on here is someone interesting to talk to and/or hang out with--if more should arise--Great; if not, friends are Great too. I just moved to Austin in August so I'm trying to get to know the city. I'm a shy person when you first meet me and usually tend to be too shy to go up to someone and make a first move, but I do open up really quickly. A little about me...I'm nice (probably too nice and polite for my own good), very laid back, but I do have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor. I love spending time with family and friends, cooking, exploring new shops and restaurants, trying new things, traveling, history museums, movies and thrift stores. Here are a few things that put a smile on my face...being able to make someone else smile or laugh, laughing so hard I cry, lounging in pajamas watching a movie, taking a walk with a warm drink on a cold day, puppies and dogs of any kind, sushi rolls, hearing Stevie Wonder on the radio, good coffee first thing in the morning and the sound of rustling leaves when a cold front blows in.

I think there is already too much pressure placed on a first date. I prefer to keep things fun and unique.
