I'm 24 yrs old; tall (6'5) with an athletic build (195lbs). My family has been in Canada for decades but eventually my roots trace back to the Ukraine. I'm well educated (two university degrees). In the future I intend to work in research dealing with drug policy/addiction/harm reduction. I'm currently taking a break from academia to focus on my music. I produce electronic dance music (house, techno, minimal, etc.) as well as DJ. My number one goal at the moment is to establish my music career so that within the near future I'm getting booked consistently to play Toronto's top clubs.

About two years ago I had dreams of making snowboarding a huge part of my life; unfortunately, though, I injured my left knee and even after months of rehab and physio the pain hasn't gone away (which really sucks because I love winter, snow, and being on the hills).

This summer I committed myself to a training (work-out) program. I changed my diet dramatically and I'm now hitting the gym a few times each week, every week. Physical fitness and well-being have become very important to me.

On the political front I'm very liberal in my thinking/attitude (I support free speech, abortion rights, responsible drug use, protection of civil liberties & legal rights, etc.).

I'm interesting in meeting a woman close in age to me (21-29) who is similarly driven in life and sets goals for herself. She has to have a 'head on her shoulders' and have some sense of what she wants out of life. I'm an honest and intense person and, so, I'm interested in finding someone who's also open and passionate. Looks-wise, I'm into shorter, dark-haired, thin (not model thin; curvy and toned) Caucasian women; I'm also attracted to blonds and red-heads. Eventually, I would like to find a girlfriend for a committed relationship but at the moment I'm fine with dating/hanging out and getting to know someone. Either way, I'm looking for someone who knows how to party and have fun.

I'm up for pretty much anything, from the traditional (dinner + movie) to the silly (mini-golf/go-karting) to the night-life oriented (clubbing). I'd like to relax and have fun rather than make things too formal. But no bungy jumping or sky-diving: heights give me the creeps haha.
