After finishing my PhD program in biomedical engineering this past summer, I made the move to Champaign and am now working full-time here. I do research/development work in the field of medical imaging (CT scanners, currently). I really enjoy my work and find it rewarding. But I also like to keep a balanced life as much as possible with other things :)

I am a big outdoors enthusiast, and love running, biking, backpacking in the mountains, rock climbing, tennis, sailing, camping, etc. Living in Champaign makes it difficult to do some of these things, but I've been finding ways to get in a few trips here and there. Bonus points if you know where that last picture on my profile was taken! I also like trying out new restaurants (especially ethnic food), going out to concerts/performances, playing the piano, and just hanging out with good friends.

I'm hoping to find someone who can (or already does) share my passion for being active in the outdoors and enjoying nature. Overall, I like to be adventurous and am quite open to trying new things...as long as it's fun! Finally, I should note that my family is Jewish, and although I personally am not very religious, I would prefer to date someone who is also Jewish. I am also open to dating someone who does not identify with a religion.
