FIRST... If you feel the need to lie and make-up stories in order to "test" my sincerity with the excuse of self-preservation, please don't waste my time. Because in the end, even if I were to pass your "test", you yourself will be deemed not only insincere, but also a liar. Neither of which do I have the tolerance or time for. Also, I am not looking for a phone-a-friend or a sex-buddy so don't bother contacting me if that is all you want.

Now that that is said...

My 16 year old son is first in my life and I expect anyone I am with to welcome him into their life as well. I don't expect you to be his father (he has one), but I do expect you to be a positive role model and influence. Even though I have no desire to have (nor can I have) any more of my own, I welcome men with children and would treat them exactly the way I would expect someone to treat mine.

I am passionate about who I am and what I am about. My passions run full spectrum from raising my son to my work, my home life and my personal time and relationships. I have a lot of old-fashioned values, I belive in regular home-cooked meals around the dinner table, I believe in monogamy and the sanctity of marriage, and I believe the family comes first.

The enjoy the beach, roller blading, wine tasting, reading, even ghost hunting. I'm new to camping (How DO you keep a tent cool during Florida's hot/humid nights?) and I'd really like to get back into scuba diving. I love to saltwater fish. Cuddling on the sofa listening to the sounds of a thunderstorm or just watching a program with someone special.

I enjoy a variety of music from Classical to Rock. TV is the same way, ranging from Family Guy to documentaries. I love trying new foods, my favorites are seafood, lamb, and sushi. I avoid ribs and anything with red sauce.

I can go from being a tomboy to a woman in the time it takes to shower and dress. I am a hopeless romantic, I love candlelight, and I thrive on touch. One can never have too many hugs and I give them freely. I believe that without trust, one is never truely able to love. I am comfortable with who I am but I want someone to share life with.

I have had enough of the games and I want someone that is not looking only for physical satisfaction but someone that is also ready for the emotional commitment needed to make a relationship work. I am seeking a life-long partner to share with me all that life has to offer whether it is through tough times or easy times. Someone that is there through it all.

I prefer informal first dates. A meeting at the park for a walk to talk and get to know one another a bit. Maybe, after the walk if it is agreed by both, a light lunch or dinner. Movies are out, you can't get to know someone when sitting quietly in a theater.
