I love to laugh and make other's laugh. I love to share joy, and sorrow. I love quiet moments and smiles. I love infectious giggling. I love my handsome Sons and my beautiful Daughter. I love this world. I love life. I love.

Why this? Why now?
I'm looking for new directions, new paths to take, and I've always found new people to be the best inspiration for that.

I generally like almost everybody I meet. But there are those rare gems out there that become Friends you cherish the rest of your lives. You never know who they are when you meet them, you find it out along the way. And they're always worth the wait.

Why here?
The "Bar Scene" was never my thing other than the best place to catch "original" LIVE music. Meeting people is best done away from that, I feel. Then music becomes something you can introduce or share together.

Original Music holds a special place for me. There isn't a single style of music I don't enjoy or own. Jazz, Country, Classical, R&B, Blues, Punk, Metal, Ska, Broadway, Big Band, Rock, Club Dance (guilty pleasure as I feel a little too old to enjoy it as much as I do, and I really really do sometimes. It's ridiculous), Gospel, Bluegrass, Vocal, Celtic, it's all good. I grew up with music all around me so it holds an important place in my world. But *original* music, songwriters playing their own songs...that's magikal. I love catching glimpses of the Creative Spirit in others and their works.

On a slightly related note...I have been known to dance (outside of my kitchen) on occasion, but most who know me are shocked (pleasantly so) when they see it. Good *music* tends to make me want to sit and listen to it. Good *rythms* tend to....do other things.

Parties are....alright. Parties with guitars are much better. It's the "people getting together and enjoying each other's company" part I adore, more than flashing lights and drinking.

I love the outdoors but have not spent as much time there as I've wanted to the last several years, apart from the odd quiet stroll through a stand of trees....just to breath in the world around me. But that's something I'm managing to remedy, thankfully. Though I'm still not sure if that counts as "Likes To Do New Things" or "Getting Off His Ass To Enjoy Some Of The Things He Used To Really Love Doing".

What am I really here looking for?
I'm just looking for ...people...or persons... that can make me smile just being around them. Who I can talk to and listen to and share and learn. And what happens after that...well, it's the journey, not the destination, I enjoy. I prefer Discovery to Expectations.

The Universe takes care of the rest, and I've learned to trust it...even if experience has taught me The Universe *can* be a bit of a prick sometimes. But, that's life, and will work as it should.

I'm not really looking to date...exactly. I like meeting, and talking, and listening. The other details tend to sort themselves out if you have those first three nailed down.
