I'm looking to meet a new friend first, with an eye towards something more serious in the future. I'd like get to know an intersting woman that is close to my age. I'd like to correspond for a while before meeting. I think you can tell a lot about a person in how they write. I enjoy mature conversations, sharing interests, chatting or corresponding on the computer or phone.

I am divorced and I have a 10 year old daughter. She lives with her Mom in Tallahassee most of the time. She is with me on most weekends. I moved to Tallahassee in late 2004 after my ex moved here with her. I am a former police officer. I am originally from the Finger Lakes or Central New York Area (Rochester / Syracuse). I worked in the construction field for a couple of years after moving here. I have worked in the insurance field for a little over 2 years now.

My Friends would describe me as very intelligent, quick whitted, an occaisonal smart ass, knowledgable on a variety of subjects, a good listener and sound adviser, observent, down to earth with lots of common sense, not easily embarrassed, able to laugh at myself, giving, and honest. I am also aware of my faults.

I've posted pictures that were taken today in my office. I'll get some others posted when I can get my scanner working. I just recently converted to a digital camera. I still think a film camera takes better pictures. I am aware that a short, bald, overweight guy may not be your ideal, but given the chance, my attributes outweigh my shortcomings.
