I am a very laid-back and loyal guy who enjoys the company of people he genuinely likes. I tend to be a bit shy at first but once I'm comfortable around you, I come out of my shell very quickly. My friends have said you don't really get to know the real me until you've known me for a bit.

My personality is very mellow, I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and I tend to only take the most important of things seriously. However, I do have a firm grasp on what's important and what's not. Important to me is my relationships with the people who care about me and having enough money to pay my bills and feed myself. Everything else is trivial.

I absolutely love movies and have a much more varied taste in them than I tend to let on. If I'm going to be 100% honest, I'm totally the guy who would go to the romantic comedy with you and probably enjoy it as much as you. Just don't make me admit it. My absolute favorite movies are dark comedies though. And I am not a big fan of action/shoot em up movies. Boring.

My music taste varies. I listen to a lot of hip-hop/rap, but my favorite artists are Ben Harper and Jack Johnson. I've also been known to listen to Garth Brooks and Johnny Cash, but I'm not a big fan of newer country. Honestly though, I'll listen to just about anything. Except Nickelback.

Should probably keep it simple on a first date. Something like dinner, so we can talk and get to know each other, and then something fun like bowling or miniature golf.
