I was born and raised in Michigan and am a fairly recent transplant out here. I groom dogs for a living, and in my spare time I enjoy a myriad of things, usually centered around creation of sometime, food, or travelling.

Currently, I'm nearing the end of National Novel Writing Month (a personal challenge to write a 50,000 word work of fiction in 30 days). It's my fifth year, and to make things interesting I'm doing two novels simultaneously. Almost done! :D I'm also learning to walk in jumping stilts for 2010 SDCC cosplay, and refine my fire dancing moves.

I also really enjoy movies, but I find it hard to go see them by myself; I enjoy them alot more if I have a friend to share the experience with. :) I like a broad range of genres, but my favorites are adventure, disaster, superhero, and animation. As for music, I'm quite eclectic, ranging from Classical (I've been playing cello since I was 10) to blues funk to musical theatre and everything inbetween. :)
