I like to read historical and mystery novels as well as history of the western mystery tradition. I play the guitar and sing and am a budding songwriter. My dog is my special companion. I am a dog obedience trainer with an interest in helping rescue dogs adjust to their new homes. I have volunteered as a therapy dog handler. I enjoy cooking and baking and making preserves. My goal is to complete my bachelors degree in organizational leadership and pursue a career in management training to improve working conditions for employees and maximize their potential in the workplace. I aspire to use my creative talents, and perceptive abilities for the greater common good. I have a good sense of humor, and despite my quiet outer reserve , I am quite a clown. I enjoy being with people who like to laugh with me. I am a bit of a homebody, and prefer not to be in loud large groups of people. I am an advocate of volunteerism. As such I am a lay ministry candidate in the second year of my studies. I am intuitive,inquisitive and intelligent and am ready to hear anyone's point of view. I enjoy finding common ground rather than focusing on differences, as I believe that people have more in common than they think. I love music, especially jazz,60's and 70' rock'n'roll, and r&b. In fact other than contemporary country music and rap I pretty much like everything.

For a first date I would like to go to a coffee shop for a leisurely conversation,followed by a wander around a bookstore.
