First and foremost, I'm a Christian. I'm blessed to be the father to the most amazing person I know, my son. I'm happiest when I'm with my son. There is nothing I'd rather be doing, than to be doing "anything" with him. Being a father has changed my life in a way that can't be expressed in words. It's the greatest gift I've been given, and a responsibility that I welcome with open arms. I'm also blessed to have an amazing family, and I would do anything for them. I'm Sicilian / Italian, born and raised in Illinois. I currently live in the far Southwest Chicagoland area. When it comes to enjoying life, it's the little things that matter most. Less truly is more. Give me the country over the city. I'm as laid back and reserved as I am outgoing. I'd like to think I'm well rounded. I'm not a casual person. Whatever I do, I do it with passion, including my love of music. I also have a passion for sports. I'm a die hard Indianapolis Colts fan(NFL) Notre Dame Fighting Irish football fan (College football) and Chicago White Sox fan (MLB) I take life seriously, yet I love to have fun. I love to laugh. Laughter is the best medicine. In fact, most of the time I'm goofing around! I love to stop and smell the roses. My favorite time of year is Autumn. I love everyting about the Autumn season, from the colors to the food (anything pumkpin flavored) to the weather, to football season, you name it. Life is beautiful. I try to make the best of every situation, and have fun with everything I do. I'm at a point in my life where I would like to meet someone to share my life with. As a single parent, there is not much "free time" to go and meet people. So, a friend told me about this site, and here I am.

In my opinion, a first date should be something simple. A first date should be something where you can actually talk to the other person (not going to a movie) in a relaxed casual enviornment.
