Hello again! I have been somewhat discouraged with the dating scene recently and have been absent from it for a while, but my optimistic side is encouraging me to give love another chance. :) I am searching for a long- term, monogamous relationship with one man that I can dote on and shower with undying affection. I am a caring, honest, open (I will share my feelings with you, sometimes even if you don't care to hear them. lol) loving, romantic, outgoing and friendly person who is searching for a soulmate to share my life with. I don't expect miracles, or love at first sight. I want to get to know someone. I find that jumping into a relationship without doing that first can be disastrous, so I want to spend quality time with them and build on a relationship.

About me....I am a 45 year old single mother of one 17 year old teenager who does live with me and is the love of my life. I am a health care professional and I do enjoy going to work every day (well most days!lol)I love my co-workers and consider them my very good friends also. I feel extremely lucky to have found this kind of employment because I have also worked where the atmosphere was not so enjoyable.I think that enjoying your job is 99% of the battle, don't you? I do make a decent salary (enough to live on!) and I have owned my own home for 7 years now. Some of the activities I enjoy are dancing, concerts, movies, antiquing, flea markets, Buckeye Sports (Go Bucks!!), football, basketball, most other sports, vacationing, spending time with my family and friends, and I am ALWAYS open to new interests and suggestions. I am also somewhat of a homebody and I do like spending time at home on occasion. Cuddling on the sofa with someone special, watching a movie and eating popcorn is a wonderful evening. :) I most often listen to today's music whether it is pop or country-I do love 80's music though (that is my genre!) I basically like all kinds of music and also movies. My favorite movies tend to be thrillers, suspense or good sci-fi, comedies and I do like a good scary movie occasionally.

Let's see, what am I looking for? I am searching for someone who is honest, loving, loyal and romantic. (Are you out there?) I love a good sense of humor and someone who can laugh at themselves as well as laugh with others. I find laughter is the best medicine for what ails you, don't you think? I am goofy sometimes and like to kid and joke around with my friends and family at times. I am also an animal lover and do have a few in my household, so someone who also loves animals would be a plus. We don't have a menagerie, just a small zoo. lol :) I am definitely interested in more than just casual dating, but building a foundation in any relationship is important to making it a strong and lasting relationship. Starting with "baby steps" is not out of the question by any means. I do feel honesty and trust are important and necessary for building, having and maintaining a healthy relationship. I will "Honestly" and totally open my heart and give my soul to the right man. Could that be you?

My ideal first date would be somewhere that we can chat and get to know one another better. Might as well see if there is a chance for another date. It doesn't have to be something that lasts all evening (unless we end up wanting it to!) I am open to whatever you want to do also. Dinner, coffee, etc. I am looking forward to meeting you.
