When I have free time to have some fun you'll either find me outside on my bike, surfing (trying to learn to surf, at least), hiking, fishing etc. Either I'm active or doing nothing at all, sitting on my porch with my dog, waiting for the BBQ to finish. I'm not into the bar scene, but I do enjoy a cozy pub or brewery, especially if they have a patio in the sun. I love getting away for weekends as often as possible.
I mostly listen to rock and country western music. I enjoy blues and jazz a little, but not much. I can't stand rap or hip hop. It drives me crazy.

I think a first date should be all about talking. The whole point is to get to know the other person, right? A casual dinner and a walk or coffee somewhere quiet where you can ask each other lots of questions.
