I really just created this profile to see what's out there on Plenty of Fish's website and kind of take things slow - see where they go. First and foremost, I'm looking to meet new people and make new friends. I'd like to see where things evolve, if at all, from there. This doesn't mean that I don't want to meet the woman of my dreams and live happily ever after. lol

I am college educated in computer programming and currently working towards a bachelor's in criminal justice. I know it's a bit of a spread. If you're curious, just ask me.

I don't care if you have kids or not, but you must like kids and must be ok with me having children. I have a little girl and boy. They come first in my life. I'm not looking for nor do I want a mommy for my kids. They already have one, for better or worse. Also, please be understanding if I don't want to introduce you to my children the first time we meet or anytime soon thereafter. It's nothing personal, I am just trying to protect them and set a good example.

I really enjoy romantic evenings, getting out of the house, or even just cuddling up on the couch together. I believe that a truly good relationship centers around being affectionate, compassionate, considerate, caring, respectful, tactful, loving, humor, honesty, and most importantly: communication.

Oh... and for those that care about this: I am currently trying to quit the foul habit of smoking. It's proving to be most difficult for me. For those that have quite, I applaud you greatly.

I really appreciate everyone's interest in me. However there obviously must be some ground rules. First, if your first email cannot be more than a sentence or two, please don't bother. More importantly, please show me that you understand more than Ebonics. If I don't know what you just said to me, I'm not responding. Second, I really don't find pictures of your pets, cars, friends, or anything else but you entertaining or worth looking at. I want to see you. Not everything else. While I'm a guy and appreciate a good naughty pic, I really don't want to see those either... leave some things for the imagination please. Finally, I'm not here for sex. If that's all you want, move on. There are plenty of other sites and people I know that can take care of those needs if I wanted it.

I would rather not do a movie, concert, or anything where we couldn't actually converse. The whole point to a first date is to take some time to get to know each other. Now a second date is different. Some ideas for a first date might include things such as bowling, put-put, walks in a park, a coffee house, pool, or something outlandish and fun.
