I would like to meet you if you share some of my interests, but also have your own life and passions. I’m less likely to pay attention to your picture than I am to read what you have to say. I would never say I have a "type" however humor and intelligence are what captures my attention because, to me, they are by far the sexiest qualities in any man. You don’t have to have a degree, but you have to be smart and, at least, a little bit witty. I possess both and connect with people who can keep up with my intelligence and wit. It also helps if you’re easy going, compassionate, positive and grateful for what you have in life (and if you still believe in chivalry, we definitely should talk).

I'm witty, intelligent, and educated... given all that, my friends would say my sense of humor stands out above all (which is quick, sort of sarcastic, dry and sometimes wicked). I have many passions and interests (some I listed above and the rest you can ask me about).

I can be very spontaneous and some of the things I like to do for fun include concerts and sporting events, dining out, cooking, browsing bookstores, hiking - please don't read that as I camp... to me, nature is seriously overrated at night :) - cycling, I really like to ski (but I truly suck at it), movies, and I would love to learn how to dance (like salsa). Despite my love for all those, I am equally happy staying in... especially on a cold evening with a great movie, great company and stimulating conversation.

I love all kinds of music from Korn and Disturbed to Snoop to Elvis to Quincy Jones to symphony (but not a real big fan of country). I'm a lover of all literature; I read a lot (and write a little). I'm in good shape and I work out most days (but not obsessively). I’m pretty uniquely ordinary :-) I am a woman who is confident, comfortable in her own skin and appreciates quality in her relationships.

People seem to be afraid to commit to a first meeting beyond the cup of coffee, but I am a believer in investing more quality and time. A nice dinner, a glass of wine, and stimulating conversation is a classic and always well received. However, I also enjoy thinking beyond dinner and a movie (could be a cooking class, a salsa class, an art gallery opening, and even paintball or laser tag - something fun and different).
