So about me

The serious:
Moved here from DC about 8 months ago. Was working in the IT field for 14 years and started to see a lack of options in regards to promotions. So with that and a few other things in mind, I moved down here to awesome tidewater to go back to school for a degree to open some new doors in hopefully some new industries. :) So with that, I definitely know who I am, where I am, and where I plan on going. I'm drama free and the people I meet definitely need to be as well.

The fun:
I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, reading, skiing (water & snow), tubing/wakeboarding, goofing off on the computer, irritating my dog, camping, anything mountain related, anything stargazing related, anything that is just gonna be fun and will leave some really good memories. I like roadtrips, I like small towns where everybody knows you. I would love to travel the world after I'm done with my school and actually take a vacation for once. Some of the places I'd like to go would be Bali, Indonesia/Singapore, Ireland, Iceland, Japan.. Not necessarily in that order! :) I don't watch much TV, but I do watch some shows that I get through netflix, which include but are not limited to heroes, sons of anarchy, boston legal, weeds, seinfeld, and others..

These sites are funny with what they want you to put in your profile.. Most of this I don't want to tell you. If you want to know, then you can ask! Makes it much more fun that way and shows alot more about a person I think.. Speaking of that kind of stuff, I'm not looking to just jump right into anything, since I just moved down here, I'm more looking for some very cool people to hang out with and if we hit it off, you won't get any complaints.. If it doesn't work out, then no biggie either! And I'm not the type of person that thinks he's perfect nor do I hold grudges or somebody's past against them. We have all made mistakes and that's the way life goes. What I'm more interested in is how you overcame and were still successful and still enjoying life! :)

I personally like to do something that will allow us to talk and get to know each other, but will have some sort of activity involved as well that I think my date would enjoy and/or be surprised by. Don't get me wrong, dinner and a movie are great and such, but watching a movie doesn't allow for much 'get to know you' time..
