I'm a hard-working single mom of four: a son in college, and three daughters who are out on their own. I like to laugh and my friends say I have a good sense of humor. I'll admit I'm no youngster, but I've been told I don't look my age. I work a lot of hours to pay the bills so I hope a potential date would understand my busy schedule.

Some of my favorite things are good books and movies, walks just about anywhere, museums, concerts, plays, working around my house, and dancing to the oldies. I love music from "my era," the 60s and 70s. Family and friends are very important to me.

I like men who are clean, well-groomed, intelligent and funny, and I'm politically active, so if you're a Democrat, that's a big plus. No smokers or bikers, please. Experience has taught me that long distance can be a real obstacle, but if it's the right person, one that can be overcome. I value friendship first, and who knows what could happen after that?
