I heard about this site and I thought, "Why not?" I am ready to try something new and see what happens! I am a full time student working towards my BA in English with the hopes of getting my MA in Child Psychology after that. I LOVE to go to the movies and to live theater. I am fun and optimistic. I read for fun! *gasp* Laughing really is my favorite part of life and next to that would have to be smiling. There are never a lack of smiles and laughter in my life. I'm looking for someone to share that with. Recently I've started watching US football and found that the games really are enjoyable. This new interest of mine is thanks to having an open mind. I have done the casual dating thing. I am ready to start something with someone that has the potential to lead to long term. It would be awesome to meet someone who becomes not only your lover, but also your best friend and life long partner. Life is much more enjoyable when you have a partner in crime! Want to be my Clyde? If all fails, we'll end up famous anyway!

First dates are awesome in my opinion. It is the time when you are most optimistic and you just don't know what could happen. I love getting to know new people and first dates are never disappointing. My ideal first date would be in the middle of the afternoon. That way you know if things are going well, you have plenty of time in the evening to still hang out. We would be outside, preferably on a nice breezy day so that we don't get hot and uncomfortable while talking. I have found that being somewhere public but not crowded works well. Also it would take some of the pressure off to be in a common place. We would just "hang out" and get to know each other. Have some friendly banter. Tease each other a bit. See which page we are at in our lives and if we are even in the same book. It saves a lot of time to find this out early on (smiles).
