Some of my hobbies are reading, hiking, working out (sometimes). I am looking for someone who knows the meaning of the word respect. I do not expect more and will settle for nothing less than basic respect. I am very down to earth and like to keep things simple (no drama). I always want to treat others the way I want to be treated. I typically listen to country music (the new stuff) and adult contemporary music. I will be very honest and say that I love bowling. Wineries are great to vist and relax at. :)

I grew up on a dairy farm, so I am extremely down to earth. There is a difference between what you WANT and what you NEED. The difference usually mean if you have a few bucks left over to keep in the bank.

I have many nieces and nephews and they mean the world to me. I am extremely short (4'9") and my nieces and nephews love it when they are taller than 'Aunt Betty'. My response to them is that they need to set their goals in life higher than being taller than me. :))

I realize it is very unusual that at my age that I have never been married with no kids. The right man has not come along and I am not one to just settle for anything when I know what I want.

A first date can be anything from meeting for a drink or dinner and a movie.
