| | I am recently separated and just entering the dating scene. I may come with a wee bit of baggage, but after a lifetime of marriage (or so it seems), I am ready now to take on the challenge of finding great people to connect with. I am not looking for anything too serious right now, but if the right person came along, I may be convinced otherwise. I am big into self-improvement and the awareness of how life's challenges can shape a person's character.
I love to travel. I have been to many places around the world and have enjoyed them all. My long term goal is to take my professional experiences on the road and educate others. I enjoy the outdoors and golfing. If you golf as well, then that is a big plus.
I am a strong person, confident in myself and have a high degree of integrity. I know my boundaries of what I like in people, and am not afraid to say it like it is. I'm happy by nature, love social outtings and have no problem blending with a variety of people. The first date would be very casual and would be limited to conversation over a cup of coffee where we can both see if we would like to learn more about each other. Second and third dates could be something more structured, like a walk in the park, a movie, a home cooked meal or a drive to the Whiteshell for a hike. You will need to like spontaneous get togethers as much as planned ones. An assertive attitude with your own suggestions for a date will be welcomed. |
