FIRST, let me put out my official disclaimer: DO NOT bother contacting me if you are allergic to cats, hate watching t.v., if you are judgmental, psycho, clingy and needy, think you are God's gift to women, have not read my entire profile, or you are not a Christian. I like what I like and I take my beliefs very seriously. I don't want to date a man who can not talk with me about what matters the most to me in life. I am not a holy-roller, but I have morals and a spiritual approach to life. I also do not think I OWE any man access to my body. I am very passionate BUT some people have got way to casual about physicality. I do not kiss on the first meeting or date. I like things to be special.

Other than these things, I am a low-maintenance woman who prefers DVDs to jewelry and no drama. I am a movie and DVD series junkie. I love stories and finding hidden meanings and living vicariously through characters. I love coffee. I love hanging out with my friends and would like to find a man who would also like to hang out with my friends (my second family) and I with his. I love long meaningful conversations and I am very educated but I don't always talk like I am. I have one Masters Degree and am going to start another one soon to enhance the one I have. I have goals and dreams. I am able to tolerate a lot of flaws in others WITHIN REASON and I tend to have two types of men I am interested in right away. I like men who are intellectual, or I like men who work with their hands. But who knows who God has in mind for me? I am a rational woman with a vivid imagination. I am fascinated by both the light and the dark sides of life. I find lots of things interesting. It is important to me that I find a man who is taller than me (I'm 5"3 how hard can that be?) and weighs more than me with out being over-weight. DON'T misinterpret me, I am not vain, a couple pounds over weight is fine and I can go for either thin or built I just don't want a man who can fit in my jeans. Health issues are important to me as I try to be a healthy person also. I am a very eclectic person and I like to try new things and have fun. I love witty banter. I tend to dress like a lady but not like a glamor model. I am very pretty and cute but that doesn't make me "the one to rue them all" and I have a warm and friendly personality. I never screw people over and I am very loyal to my friends. I am always open and honest because lies are too much effort and don't get me what I want. I am sensitive and genuinely care for others and do whatever I can to make everyone's lives better. I have had a very strange life which makes me versatile and very understanding of other people. In general, people tend to like me and feel comfortable around me. I am easy to get along with. It is my goal in life to become a professional counselor. I love helping people with their issues. I would describe myself as balanced. I can be both an adult and child-like at the appropriate times. I am fun but mature. I also love to go walking and listening to my iPod and I am very creative in various ways. I hate rap music and country and real life T.V. shows. I will never ride a motorcycle and cars should be a respectable size. I will not bungy jump or go rock climbing. I live in my head a lot and entertain myself well. I over-analyze, but I also wear my heart on my sleeve. I like tattoos, but not a ton of them. A few well placed ones in black ink is hot. Some T.V. shows I like are Dexter, Weeds, Mad Men, NCIS, Monk, Law and Order, Lost, House, and Lie to Me.

A first date should be casual and comfortable for both people. I am very traditional and stick to gender roles but I prefer to pay for myself on the first date/ meeting to even things out and be fair. After that if we both agree that we feel some chemistry, then he can feel free to pay. No I do not eat lobster and I am very aware of the economy. I would like to go out to a place where I can focus on the person I am with so lunch, dinner, or coffee are all good ideas.
