Hobbies-- reading, especially biography/autobiography, studying magic, collecting bullion, playing/coaching chess, taking care of my turtles (!). I like to ice skate. You don't have to skate. If you want to learn, we can go skating. (I used to play hockey a lot as a kid.)
Goals--Personal goals: find a nice person to be a companion to, someone who can be my companion as well. Though I am not lonely, I am somewhat tired of being alone, I think I'm done with that stage of life. I do like my alone time, to be sure, but I find I want to share much more of my day than I used to.
Professional goals: Continue teaching, perhaps add a degree to those I have. Maybe try online this time. Continue to grow my tutoring business, probably seek a college teaching position.
Yourself--I have a good sense of humor, I like to be nice to people, I prefer to be with one woman only. I have a broad educational background, perhaps the broadest you have encountered. Ask me about it! I don't evaluate people by their education, though. I evaluate them by how they treat others, and, of course, by how they treat me!
Music--Almost anything except rap or most country. I like classic rock, I like a lot of metal, I like pop, I enjoy classical, too. Like I said, almost anything except rap or most country. I dont know if metal is suitable for dates, however! A first date should be spent talking to each other, not necessarily about work, but just talking. We will find out about each other that way, and if there is a spark then we have another date. If not, maybe we have another date anyway or we just consider each other friends and leave it at that. Dinner is good, maybe a few drinks, but going to a movie or a concert for the first date is not a good idea.
