I like to think I'm a pretty simple person. I tend to me shy and fairly quiet until I get to know someone, then I'm just a total ham. My sense of humor helps me make friends and keep away enemies. I tend to be a little sarcastic at times, but it's always in pure fun. I enjoy my job, but still want more for myself in the future...just haven't decided which route I want to take.

I love my family and friends, many of my friends are like family to me, and my mom is my best friend. I have two dogs that I love just as much as if they were human, one of which has practically grown up with me. I'm a big fan of traveling and trying new things, though I'm definitely not an adrenaline junky...if it involves falling in some fashion you can count me out. In my free time I'm usually hanging out with friends, at the movies, or doing stuff around the house. I've never been a big bar/club scene kind of person, just seems too fake and forced if you ask me. Though I enjoy being around people, I also value my alone time. I love to travel and hope to be able to do more of it in the future, but that's one of those things that's not as much fun by yourself.

This year I have learned to value the benefit of change and I am proud of my accomplishments I've made in my life and what I've learned along the way. I think enough of myself not to settle when it comes to friends, relationships and life in general. I've worked hard to get where I am and become who I am and I won't settle for less just because it might be the easy route. My goal is to find someone with the same type of drive and ambition. I want someone that's not going to just walk away after a fight or just sits on the couch and watches tv all day every day. I want someone that can talk about things and be able to be open and honest. I don't like liars or cheaters and even if it hurts me, I always prefer the truth.

I've decided that I should add a few "qualifications" if you will...
-For starters- I am NOT here for sex, so if that's your main driving factor and goal here, then don't even bother sending me a message.
-Same applies if you have kids...I'm sorry, I have nothing against kids, I just don't think I can be that girl.
-I want a guy with a good, stable, well paying job. I know how that sounds, but believe me, I don't need a man for his money and I don't even WANT his money, I have my own and do just fine for myself, but I also don't want to get involved with someone who can't handle money properly, has bad credit/debt...I like to have nice things and go and do what I want, if you suck with money I'm not interested.
-You must be taller than me...I'm a girl, I like to get dressed up on occasion, and if I have to overthink what shoes I'm going to wear it's just no fun...may be vain, but I've done the whole shorter thing and it's just not for me.

I like taking things slow. In the past things would get too serious too quickly and was over before we knew it and I'm not really a fan of repeating that trend over and over. I'm cool with lunch or just coffee then take it from there if it goes well. As far as long term, I like when a guy takes me somewhere new and different and shows that they actually put thought into planning it. I'm not saying it has to be super expensive or showy, the little things go a long way with me. Like most girls, I'm a big fan of the old fashion gentleman. I'm really not that hard to impress, it's the longevity of the ability to impress me that I find difficult...people tend to get too comfortable too quickly and think they just don't have to try anymore after a certain period of time.
