Intelligent (emotionally and otherwise), single again for over five years now, ex-down-stater looking for someone whom I'll click with -- but there really are no particular qualities I can think of that that special person would need to have, other than obvious qualities like warmth, good communication skills and a capacity to be in a relationship (whatever that means!) with an artist-type (me) who wants nothing more than to continue doing his art (so I guess I'd prefer to have someone in my life who also likes -- at least somewhat -- art! Ok well I've come up with at least one specific criterion). In other words I've no unalterable "menu" of characteristics I'm especially looking for, my feeling is one "knows it when one sees it". That said, it's also, of course, all about timing. Now is good!

Oh, it doesn't really matter. I don't think the choice of what two people do will make a difference if there's chemistry there. Just hanging out, coffee, possibly dinner, take things as they come..... Really it doesn't matter, I'm sure of that.
