I am a poet and a dreamer. I’m truly an incurable romantic who believes in love. I would prefer a spontaneous meeting because I think I make a better personal impression than one can through these websites. For one, I am not photogenic but, oh well, you never know, maybe this will work. Lol

I think my best qualities are my personability and warmth. People find me easy to talk to. I love to laugh and do it everyday and often. I have a very positive energy and am put off by negativity. I am not petty or high maintenance. Don’t have drama or baggage and don’t want any. I am just a girl who likes to be treated with sweetness and consideration. My biggest pet peeves are people who complain and people or who are inconsiderate of others. I love all animals. My mate must too, especially cats- If my little thug cat, Goliath, climbs on you and wants pets, I hope you will engage.

I have very busy kids and they are my priority, so I don't have a great deal of time but I make time for good friends and, definitely, for the right man. Truthfully, I have about 1-2 days/nights a week to devote to a relationship though I am available by phone everyday. Some weeks all you’ll get out of me is a good movie and good bottle of wine…it would be nice to have someone to unwind with…without saying much...you know. I am very independent and am not looking for a dad for my kids…they have one. I have my own but I welcome a knight in shining armor to rescue you me once in a while. A real man knows when a lady would like (not need) a rescue. I just need some adult time in my life…maybe something that can grow. I can be a very attentive woman but like reciprocal relationships, if you know what I mean. I haven't been in love in a long time....I'm due....lol.

Music …I love the 60’s and 70’s…soft rock and R&B…would love to go to a jazz club…I hear there’s a good one in Dallas. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I’ve been in Dallas 3 years and so I don’t know it that well yet.
Movies…anything on the Oscar list…indie…foreign…a good drama or action flick will work depending on the mood.

My perfect mate would be intelligent, warm, honest and generous (with his energy). I’m not into metro-sexual men…sorry, you can’t be better groomed than I....I’m a natural-always have been;…no facials… no face creams…I’m into soap and water, and often wash my hair and run out the door without make-up…even at 43…. Can you handle that? I am looking for a soulmate…a man I can call friend, with whom I can find comfort as well as excitement-would love a partner in crime to go to museums, festivals, plays, movies, the symphony, the ballet, dancing occasionally...or just hang out. I welcome great conservations about life, love, philosophy…I don’t really like to talk politics or religion...I am very liberal politically and religiously, I am pluralist…all prayer and worship are worthy and every day is a holy day and an opportunity to treat people and the universe with love, kindness and consideration.
