Updated: Nov 13 09. Been divorced once, widowed once, and prefer not to do either again. IT SUCKS! I have NO problem laughing at myself. Be happy. Positive attitude. If you are not a smiler, than we are probably not right for each other. I love to smile and laugh. Are you up to that? I like to make other people feel good. That makes me feel good. I am just ME! The phrase that does fit to me is "to know me is to love me". I am honest, loving, affectionate, kind, understanding, wise,love to laugh and be happy. Very little alcohol on occasion, and no drugs. By the way, you do know, that grass IS a drug, right? I am a very nice person, and need to be with one in the same. Home takes up a lot of my time. I am female, and have to do it 3 times before I get it right. I have great inner strength and determination, coupled with my ability to be soft warm and loving. They say I am "different" (in a good way) but I am just the best person I can be. It is important to me to enjoy the moment. I am always trying to improve myself, to make me a better person. I love to learn..... I try to keep a positive attitude. I don't get to watch much Tv, the news in the morning and sometimes the evening. Not much time to watch movies, so my knowledge there is on the low side. I love all the outdoors. Shamefully, I work in my yard more than the inside of my house. Want to do the yard work?? :)

I love adventures of all kinds. Love all kinds of food, from sushi to mom and pop. Enjoy from motorcycles to museums, camping to 3 star, Vegas and Laughlin to seclusion in the mountains. Some things I have done and enjoyed: Boating, bowling, darts, hiking, exploring, gun shooting, dirtbiking, 4 wheeling, car shows, museums, the beach, finding new places, fishing, golf, river rafting, houseboating, amusement parks, ohhh, the list is endless... Somethings I still do, some I don't anymore, but could be coaxed. I would still like to para sail. Parachuting (some would say "why waste a perfectly good plane? ") and bungy jumping are not on my "to do" list anymore. Life is short enough, why push it? Memories that make me smile : Yosemite, San Felipe, Moro Bay, Kern River, Oregon (would still love to camp the coast), Vegas, (love to explore the hotels and see what is going on inside) Colorado River, the Delta, Lake Powel, just to name a few. I have not been to Hawaii yet, or on a cruse, or really out of the U.S. but would love to. I have done a great deal on my own, and would love to do things with my "special someone."

I am not into any "one thing". There is just too much to do in life to be consumed by one thing. Water is my passion. I am an animal lover. Have one dog right now. My kids are on their own, and I have no grandchildren yet. No baggage or drama here.

I have been single (meaning unmarried) for 15 years. I really miss and am looking for the intimacy of being a couple. I prefer (and not mandatory) short hair, clean cut, casual kind of man. I am very mechanically inclined, (my logic side) and seems to work better if you are as well. I have a country heart, and a city head. Guess that is why I live in the country and work in the city. A strong and kind personality seems to work well with me. I am told I can be a handful of sorts. One of my faults I am told, is my unwillingness to let others help me. My thought is people have their own lives and their own stuff to deal with, I don't want to bother them. I like me and who I am. I am proud of me. Looking for the same with you.

I know who I am as a single person, and would love to find out who I am with you. It is fun to blend the 2 of us together, and see what we come out as... Winter is coming up, and on occasion, I like to cuddle up on the couch, fireplace going, movie on, and just hunker down. With 2 it would be so much better :) I have a large variety of music likes. But haven't been able to listen for quite some time, it makes me cry (it makes me miss you). It is important to me to be friends first. I want to be that special woman, to my special man. You being happy, makes me happy. Hummm...... makes me think of the saying "if mama is happy, then everyone is happy...." What kind of cook am I? Well, I like my cooking. But what would you like me to cook for you? I BBQ, do quite a bit of veggies, pasta (pretty good spaghetti if I might say so) and willing to try anything. I tend to cook on the healthy side.

Communication is so important to make a relationship work. ANY relationship.
