I'm an artist and designer who loves music, dogs, football, nature, humor, and interesting people. I'm usually open to new ventures but mostly enjoy hiking, camping, concerts, watching football, painting, sculpting, and being with friends. My true friends are kind, faithful, good people. I am blessed to have them! Drama is not my friend. I avoid it as much as possible but if one of my buddies needs me, I'll be there no matter what.

I've been divorced for 4+ years and, though I LOVE children, I do not have kids of my own. After my divorce, I fostered a child for a couple of years. It was very fulfilling experience and I've concidered doing it again. At this stage of my life I no longer have "the baby bug" (mostly due to my age) but I'm often told I would be a great mother. Don't misunderstand... I'm not looking to be your childs next mom.

I'm far from being a "girlie girl", however as an interior designer and former salon/spa owner, I stay well grounded in my femininity. I like getting dirty but clean up like a princess. :-P I'd prefer to have friends over for a cook out and kickin' back over the club scene ANY DAY! When I go out, I find it enjoyable to see a good band, a show, meet friends at a pub, or do something out of the ordinary. I'm pretty low maintenance. Going to a concert now and then, listening to music and, "my time" in my art studio keeps me happy. I also like working on my house and tackling hefty construction projects. Actually, I have a great deal of experience in construction. I can handle power tools better then most men... at least that's what I'm told ...and it's true!!! :-) I also do upholstery, stained glass and, and a bunch of other crap.

If you haven't noticed, I'm a very open person. I'm honest & I'm faithful & I'm on a quest. Not to be rude but I don't have much time... or desire to chat with & respond to everyone. Sorry! I hope to find a man with whom I click. Unfortunately, I don't have time for more friends right now. I would however love to spend time with someone splecial. Someone who is good for me & vice versa. Because I hope to get it right this time, I don't want to rush into a relationship.... yet, I don't want to date several men at the same time. hhhmmmm??? Dilema!!!

Before I would actually consider a "date", I would want to chat a bit and see if there seems to be some sort of connection. If we meet, I'd prefer to have coffee or a couple of drinks somewhere where we can talk. If the chemistry appears to be there we'll figure out what want to do on an actual date. Sorry, but I don't really have time to waste going on a bunch of dates with total strangers. I'm a hopeful romantic & want to find MY Mr. Wonderful. You don't have to be perfect (nobody is & life would be boring if we were), you just have to be perfect for me. BTW: I tend to prefer intelligent tall men with square chins and a good sense of humor.
