Some about my personality: I’m easy-going, kind, thoughtful, responsible, fun, determined, adventurous, etc.

Some about my interests: reading, sports (playing and spectator), hiking, biking, traveling, enjoying the outdoors. I do dig a nice pair of shoes, but unlike most girls, I'm not crazy about shopping. I shop because I have to.

Some about my life now: I’m a full-time student, my second pass at school. I'm working hard at it, I have to make this round count! I have a few years ahead of me, although I'm enjoying it thoroughly. I'm separated, working on the divorce logistics. If you care to contact me and need to know more detail, I can fill you in, if it seems appropriate. The bottom line is our circumstances are short-term and theoretically it is as good as done. I'm in a healthy (mental) place and ready to date again.

I'm from Florida, I still have some Southern influence in me, translation: I do pronounce my R's, I'm friendly, fairly wholesome and love to watch football.

What I’m looking for: For now, getting to know someone who has some common interests, taking it slow, having fun. At some point in the future I’d like to find that special someone to enjoy a long-term relationship with. I’m not looking for a ‘type’ per se, but that someone should feel comfortable expressing himself, confident, yet humble, kind, honest, upbeat, positive, athletic, intelligent, carefree, yet responsible, balanced. And yet while all these qualities are good - a strong relationship accepts you for who you are, flawed and all. We all have our idiosyncrasies (I like the smell of chlorine - odd, irrevelant, but true).

I'm convinced it isn't all about me:). I want to compliment you, enjoy your interests, learn about you. I'm fair and just need the same in return. Our sum should be better than the parts. I believe I need a relationship that is based on friendship. I'm all for being sensual, playful, cuddling, spooning - all good! Although there has to be a connection and chemistry! I need the freedom to be myself, laugh at myself (and you) and enjoy your company. It doesn't have to take long, there is no time-line. It has to feel right.

With me, you get what you see. I would say I’m simple, not extravagant. I like nice things in life, yet feel as if life itself is full of riches for our taking. I’m forthright; I don’t have anything to hide. I’m not pretending to be something I’m not. I feel comfortable in my skin and know who I am. If you are still reading, a disclaimer about my photos: I am the picture taker, thus I have very few shots of me in general and even less without my kids. I don't enjoy posting their pictures on pof, althoug I'm not computer savvy enough (yet) to block out their faces. While I'm on the subject of my kids...they have a father that loves them and takes care of them. I am not looking to replace that in any way. However, with me you get the whole package. At some point in time if 'us' comes to mean something to you, then you would need to accept them too. I must say they are quite endearing, really! I've worked hard (still am) on raising them right.

A sports game, walk in the park, cafe...hang gliding.:) I'm not particular, just something or somewhere that has a good vibe and condusive to open dialogue. Keep it light, laugh a lot and try to be authentic.
