I am interested in maintaining my fitness, eating well, and am concerned about the environment. I am becoming more interested in politics and the decisions that are made which affect me. I am looking for a woman and best friend to spend the rest of my days with.

I am confident but maybe a little quiet (strong, silent type?). I don't spend much energy wondering what people outside my relationship and family think about me.

I work hard to understand and support the person I love. I don't go to sleep being angry at my partner. As well, even if I feel their views were wrong, the person I care about will receive my unconditional support in public (however I would like to discuss the issue later). I have never, ever talked behind one of my partner's back.

I prefer simple pleasures. I get more out of sunshine and rosy cheeks, than I do Hidef. I strive not to pay someone else for something I can do myself. I just turned 39, going on 25.

I can occasionally eat an entire bag of Skittles or Nachos with only mild side effects.

I hope you can communicate and argue effectively. I am not preoccupied with fighting, but I do believe that two people in close quarters are going to get on each others nerves from time to time. So arguing well and safely is necessary for the better of a relationship.

It warms the heart to hear the words 'I love you', but these words are meaningless unless they can be said when its hard...
