Hi, my name is Nick. I'm a fan of the ironic. I don't believe in being anything but myself. Hopefully you're a fan of those who express themselves in an honest means as well. I'm 23 turning 24 soon and I moved back to Arizona to be near family for a little while. My ultimate goal in life right now is to finish my education and become a teacher (most likely an English teacher for those who were wondering the subject matter).

Some random things about me. I like making funny faces to a camera. I also like to pretend I'm a rockstar in my shower, car, and at my computer. I can't stand Glenn Beck.

On the Carl Jung/Myers-Briggs personality type I'm an INFP ( it stands for Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perception) I believe in these archetypes vehemently. I'm a passionate person and an idealist but I'd also like to think I have a relatively open mind and of course am looking for the same. I'd say I'm pretty down to earth and laid back. I also have a great sense of humor (no seriously, I do). I try to go to with the flow. I find Wikipedia to be incredibly fun and fascinating to search. I have a curiosity and desire to seek and understand. I also have a love for all things artistic. I'm definitely a deep thinker. I hate the shallow and insincere. Overall I'd say I'm a person who truly cares and believes in loyalty. Hopefully this wasn't too abrasive for any of you :P

What I'm really looking for in a girl is someone who is passionate. Someone who is concerned, empathetic, and considerate. A girl who has the ability to give as equally as she takes. I'm looking for that right mix of someone who is intellectual and simultaneously in touch with their emotions. There just has to be a strong amount of depth and understanding. I want to get lost in your character. I want to prove that romance isn't just a term used when you're discussing Shakespeare.

You'll notice I don't list a ton of outdoor activities. It's not that I necessarily have anything against 'em, it's that I don't really have anyone to do them with haha. I'm new here and am very weary of the outside world so I don't know any of you! I'd like to though!

Regarding my music tastes here are some bands I really enjoy: Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, AFI, Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix the list goes on.

Regarding television, I thoroughly enjoy The Office, Aqua Teen Hunger Force (and most of Adult Swim's lineup) The Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, Tonight Show (with Conan O'Brien) Seinfeld (old school!) and whatever else that seems off the wall or honest.

Anyway, that should give you enough of a clue as to what I'm about and obviously if most of these interests (or any really) reflect your own drop me a line.

For a first date I'd go to somewhere like a coffee shop (yes, cliché I know) or anywhere that great conversation happens because that's where my real interest lies in is getting to know someone. I like getting a feel for who a person is so I can know how to read them and how to respond. My idea is just trying to see if there's a chemistry in the conversation and taking it from there. Maybe get something to eat afterward or watch a movie it's really dependent upon what feels like the right direction to take it at the time. The idea of having a set plan for a first date otherwise seems lame and unoriginal.
