I am a very normal, down to earth person with a "glass is half-full" prospective on life. I am a man with no drama in his world, and work very had to keep it that way. I am typically a leader versus a follower, but am a very happy follower when the situation arises. I will have an opinion, but am very open to another's point of view. I know how to say that I am sorry, and admit when I am wrong. I think that I am "sensitized" to people and am a very good listener. I am both pragmatic and logical in my approach to life (that is an occupational hazard of being a business owner). I believe that I know what it takes to be a good partner. I believe that in a "true long term relationship" the couple must be "best friends" first. I am looking for that best friend that I can spend the rest of my life with. I will keep it "interesting" (trust me there). I am very much a "family person". I have been blessed with 2 daughters of 19 & 21 (1 finishing her degree in hospitality @ Univerisity of Nevada/Las Vegas, and the other @ the University of Florida in Gainsville. They are the loves of my life (but there is room for one more). I have a very close to these young ladies. As a single dad, I raised them 50/50 with my "ex" (we are still "partnering" in parenting our daughters). I am still involved with the "youth of America; I am a big brother to a 7 year old boy, and I work as a debate judge on the local, state and national level (my youngest daughter was the captain of the high school debat team, so dad got involved in debate). I am not certain when I run out of space, so I guess that I will keep on going. I am originally from the NY metro area, so I have the NY sense of humor (a little dry and sarcastic, I just can't help my self). I own an international telecommunications trading company. I do a lot of work in the Caribbedan, Latin America and Mexico. I do travel a bit for business; normally only a day or 2, not weeks. I am very familiar with "all cultures". In my professional world, I am always either the only "white face" or the only "gringo". Growing up how and where I did really has helped me in my professional career. I think that I am going to close this up, since there is a "bunch more" to complete. If you are lookig for a "boring yes man", I am mot the guy for you!! I will "keep it interesting". I will keep you smiling, you will never know what is going to happen next, but I am @ the same time very consistent in how I deal with all things. You will always know how I will react. You will meet interesting/crazy people of all ethnicities, religions, and in some cases sexual orientations (sorry, I do have friends who are gay, not many). I am a good man, that will be honest and faithful. I don't know if I am supposed to say this, but here goes; I very much enjoy the "physical aspect" of a true long term relationship (you know; the making love part). I am looking for a partner who feels the same way. I am a big one for "contact"; holding hands, public displays of affection, and most of all "sleeping close". Ok, that's it!! I am sure that no one will have the patience or "intestinal fortitude" to get this far any way. Thx for reading if you got this far though!!

The fist date would not be a date; it would be a "casual meeting" @ a public place of the woman's choice. I am a firm believer of the "woman sets the pace". Too many times women feel "pressured" by men. I hate that!! We would meet somewhere that she was comfortable with, and it would be for a "finite" period of time, this way she knows that she only has to "endure" for a specific period time. If she "likes me", then it would/could be her option to "extent" the time of our meeting.

If we do get to the true "first date", it would be somewhere that is both public, but a bit private and intimate where we can have good conversation, and really see if we "connect". I must reveal that I like to see what a woman is "made of" on the first date. I will want to see if she will "eat with her hands", or see how she reacts if "something happens", like if we are sharing a fruit and cheese platter, and she tries to cut the cheese and the cheese drops on the floor. I want to see her reaction to an "unexpected situation". I just like to see the "hmman side" of this person. The first date to me is a "test" to begin to see what this person is "really like". With all due respect, DATES ARE FAKE!! No one is in "real life" how they are on a date. I want to try and get to know what this person is like in "real life", because that is who I might be be spending the rest of my life with (if things go that way). If I like this woman (and sense that she likes me), I might suggest that we go to Hollywood beach and take off our shoes and walk on the sand. The woman should do the same on this first date; try and figure out if we connet and if she wants to contunue to get to know me better. After a first date or so, I do like to invite a woman to my house to see how I live (she would meet my dog, have to love dogs, no "dog haters please"). I would cook a meal of her choice. I am fairly health conscous, so it would be a "healthy meal" (if you live on fast food, we would not be compatable). I like good wine (I prefer red, but there are whites that I do drink), wine, dinner, good music, good conversation, maybe a walk afer dinner, ir just sitting on my patio for more wine, coffee and dessert, or maybe a good movie. I do like a quite evening at home. OK, I have "rambled" enough. Again thanks for staying awake!!
