I'm looking for new adventures. I want a best friend then see what happens. I love to do just about anything.

Oh by the way, check out my age....that's right 44 not 24....In other words, I don't expect you to look 24 so please don't expect me to either!

I love to go horseback riding, camping, hiking, movies, flea markets, looking at old architecture (don't know anything about it but love beautiful homes/buildings), the list goes on. I love to cook and I'm really good at it too (at least that is what everyone tells me).

I like to spend time with that special someone but spending time with my family and friends and remaining my own person is important to me as well.

I love to laugh and I do it often and a lot of the time I laugh at myself. You gotta be able to take a joke and laugh at yourself!

I would also like to add - please don't ask me for my phone number on the very first email. While I am seriously wanting to meet that special someone, I'm not desperate and I want to get to know someone a little better before moving on to talking on the phone and meeting. Face it, in today's world we all must be careful and take some precautions on getting to know each other.

First Date - Well it really depends on the situation. On a first blind date - well I think it should be short but sweet. Not really a date at all. Just meet somewhere in a netural location and share a cup of coffee or a drink and just chat a little bit. I think maybe an hour or so tops. That way, if one or the other is not feeling it, you aren't stuck in a situation where you are just trying to get through it.

Now a first real date - Dinner, walk down a street in a beautiful area of town, then somewhere quiet to simply talk and get to know each other even more.
